Class Spotlight: Publications
This week we are spotlighting Mrs. Townsend’s Publications class. Lately, students have been working on the CCA 2023-24 yearbook. Students have been designing and formatting the layout of pages, while spotlighting events that have happened throughout the school year. They also have been working on the weekly newsletter, The Patriot Press. Each student is assigned a different task/article that they work on throughout the week, which will later be published in the weekly newsletter. Some of the tasks students work on are: picking a devotion, interviewing students about different things that have to do with CCA, announcing birthdays, recaps about field trips, writing about Friday’s chapels, and sports announcements. The students love Mrs. Townsend and they appreciate her help and guidance with all the different things that need to be done. --Audrey
Muffins with Mom was a Success!
Muffins with mom was so much fun! Preschool through 2nd grades enjoyed muffins with their mom on March 5th, while 3rd through 6th graders ate muffins with mom on March 6th. Thank you to Greg Wisniewski for providing the muffins, and to all the morning helpers for volunteering to work the event. Publications took photos, while PO President Amber Hansen helped plan the event.
Survey Says:
This week's survey says question was do you like Reese's eggs or Cadbury eggs better? Reese's won with a total of 49 votes, while Cadbury only had 30. Fun fact, Cadbury eggs were invented in 1875. It wasn't until 1966 when Reese’s came out with their Reese's eggs. --Maggie
