PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear St. Joseph Families,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. The 2020-21 school year is upon us and our entire staff is excited to support you and your child. I look forward to the moment when I can welcome our new and returning families to our campus in-person. Until then, we have been working hard to prepare for this online learning adventure which will begin on Monday August 24th. I want to thank you for your patience and support as we get ready to launch this virtual learning experience. As we navigate our way through new technology, we know there may be some hiccups at school and at home. Let's all partner together to remedy these issues. Our continued commitment to fostering resilience, perseverance, grit, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively in diverse learning partnerships will undoubtedly help our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are an unbelievable community and when we work together, we can succeed!
Tonight is Back to School Night, Virtually, followed by Teacher Meet & Greet on Thursday August 20th and Friday August 21st. We are looking forward to connecting with each family on these days. If throughout the process you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office, a specific teacher or myself.
One of the greatest characteristics of the St. Joseph learning community is the genuine care and compassion shared between staff, students, and parents. St. Joseph School is a place where staff and families come together to ensure that the children entrusted into our care grow to be productive, confident, compassionate, members of a global society. I look forward to an amazing year!
Peace & God bless,
Patti Calton

St. Joseph School’s 25th Anniversary Golf Tournament
As we try to get back to some sort of normalcy, one tradition continues as we celebrate 25 years of the St. Joseph School Golf Tournament. We will be having the annual golf tournament at The Club at Ruby Hill on Monday, October 5, 2020. Because of the restrictions of COVID-19, there will only be a golf tournament and not a dinner portion this year. Auction items will be online on a new website. We are seeking sponsorships, golfers, donations, and volunteers. If you can help in any of those areas, please go to the link below or contact Mr. Hashimoto (shashimoto@sjsmsj.org) with any questions.
