Walk to School
On October 4, our students and families were invited to walk to school. It was an opportunity to promote health, wellness, and safety. As parents and members of our communities we are asked to continuously monitor and identify potentially unsafe conditions students’ experience each day while traveling to school.

Tricks to having a Sweetly Healthy October
Too much Halloween candy got you spooked? With a little creativity, you can find fun ways to include some ghoulishly healthy options in the mix. Have fun dressing up and together as a family to make scary treats. Create kiwi Frankenstein's with a ½ peeled kiwi, pretzel sticks and googly eyeball sprinkles or mini chocolate chips. Other easy and delicious treats, banana ghosts with mini chocolate chips and broomsticks with string cheese and pretzels. For a refreshing beverage try sparkling water with a splash of orange juice, orange slices and black grapes. Now you are ready to have a dance party and get moving. Above all, enjoy quality time together!
