Start the New Year with "SMART" Goals
Let's get ready to start the new year off right! Take those new year resolutions and do something with them. Think about a few goals that you want to work on this year. To help you get started check out the tips below for setting "SMART" goals.
- Specific (simple, sensible, significant).
- Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
- Achievable (agreed, attainable).
- Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
- Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).

Do you wake up in the morning and start your day with a sense of purpose? The Okinawans call it “Ikigai” and the Nicoyans call it “plan de vida;” for both it translates to “why I wake up in the morning.” Knowing your sense of purpose is worth up to seven years of extra life expectancy.
