Accomplishments
John Locke was one of the foremost philosophers on the concept of life, liberty, health, and property. These are basic rights that today are taken for granted by many. The right to life, being able to live the way you choose. The right to liberty, of being free not having to answer to a monarch ,or dictator where you decide things for yourself, and the government has no say in your personal life. The right to health, being able to see a doctor if you get sick in order to get well, or being allowed the time to rest so as to regain full status of health. There is also the right to property, being able t own something and no one can tell you otherwise, if something has been paid for then the person who bought it now holds the sole ownership to said object. John Locke was able to take these ideas as well as others and place them i a book called the two treatises of government to express his opinion.

These wonderful ideas that grant me the most basic rights I have. In John Locke's day and time ideas of freedom and property would have been some of the most radical ideas the people had ever heard of. However, now those very ideas are what make my everyday guaranteed rights even remotely possible.
