Absent Reporting
We have continued to receive feedback on this new District-wide process to submit and absence request. Please know that while we understand each campus/department has unique procedures the goal is to standardize approval processes for time-off requests, notification of absences to supervisors, and to ensure that absences are input in TEAMS.
Here are a few updates:
· The Plano ISD Absence from Duty Form is now accessible for all staff members via PISD Webdesk. This should ease convenience for campuses printing copies and submit on paper.
o When double-clicked, staff members can print from their desk top.
o If opened with Google Docs, staff may type into some areas of the form. It will still need to be printed for signatures and selection of the boxes on the form.
· For campuses using NCR, you can print the document and send off for duplicates or triplicates.
· If you are using a Google Form, it will need to have all of the language of the Plano ISD Absence from Duty Form.
· As mentioned in #3 in the email below, campuses need to reconcile absence requests versus absences in TEAMS on a monthly basis. (We highly recommend that Office Managers verify and reconcile on a daily basis so there is not an increased workload at the end of the month.) TheAbsence from Duty Report is accessible for Office Managers from the below menu. The actual name is Employee Absence Report by Organization. Staff members with absences and their supervisor sign the form.

We will encourage school spirit and will recognize student/team achievement over the announcements. Please send your school spirit announcements to cafeteria manager, Patricia Schrader. She can also run the announcements on the monitors in the serving lines.

Please read your emails from front office staff members. Many students are falling through the cracks due to the lack of follow through on the email directive. In order to serve their academic needs, we need faculty members to read the communication.
