Our EDI Advisor, Sam Coles, has been busy creating a new EDI Toolkit. Click here to access the range of ready-made resources and tips that will help ensure you are integrating equality and diversity in the apprenticeship journey.
Use the videos with your learners to get them to explore “The impact of micro-behaviours in the workplace”; “Creating an environment based on respect” and “Working effectively with the Equality Act”.
For guidance on how to access the toolkit please click here….
"Driving up costs for trailblazers"
Employer bodies have attacked guidance from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) that Trailblazer apprenticeship incentive payments are used where expensive assessments push costs over government funding limits.
As you are all aware, the implementation of E-track is moving forward, so here are some helpful videos and guides you can access. https://sd.centralnottingham.ac.uk/staff/login/index.php
Each Curriculum area has been provided with a dedicated e-track support person as follows:
Petra Hosey Construction, Engineering, Functional Skills & ALS
Patrick Pemsel Sport, Science and Business
Deborah Dury EMTEC & Lifestyle (supported by Petra)
There are regular Etrack focus group meetings where users can get together and discuss how they are using the system and share good practice. Everyone is welcome and moving forward we would like users to host the session and add to the agenda items. The next Etrack focus group session is on Thursday 26th November 9.00am@ Ruddingon Phase 4 Room 7 all are welcome to come along to share ideas
