Field Day
YAY!!!!! What a week! We were able to successfully bring back Spring Sing and Field Day! We also celebrate 5th grade color wars, Heart to heart Tutoring, Kindergarten Popsicles on the Playground, and Mrs. Harris' retirement. Thank you to all of the parents who attended our events and thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help out! We couldn't do it without you! Special thanks to our specials team for putting fun events together.
Monday we have our 5th grade celebration- woooowhooo! Thank you to our 5th grade parent committee for planning a fun day to celebrate our kiddos. On Tuesday, 5th grade goes to the zoo, and on Wednesday families are invited to join the building to clap out our 5th graders at noon. They will take one last lap around the building and we will cheer them out to middle school. This is such a fun group of kids and we are so proud of them!
Please reach out at any time to share any questions, concerns, or ideas. I am here to help and support you and your family. Thanks for all you do to help keep our students and staff safe.
Take Care-

The school year is almost over, and many students have medication, inhalers, and Epi pens in the nurse's office. The items may be picked up during school hours until the last day.

Here are a few things to remember for the start of the next school year, and items you can do ahead to prepare.
Immunizations
As your child goes to the doctor this summer, for check ups, and sports physical, please also talk to the doctor about any immunizations that may be needed for school. By school guidelines, all Immunizations need to be completed in order to attend school.
Health Action Plans-
If your child has any medical issues (Asthma, Diabetes, Food Allergies, Seizures) or any medical issues that may require additional support, please get those action plans from your doctor. The Doctor offices are aware of these Action plans and can print them out.
Medications taken at School-
If your child will be taking medication at school, during school hours, they will need a medication permission form filled out, and a note from the doctor, that your child is taking medication at school. A medication form will also be needed for over the counter medication.
all medication needs to be in the original bottle, container, or box, with the student's name on it. (this also includes inhalers, need to be in the original box) Check expirations dates, so no medication is expired. If you can get one that does not expire at the end of the school year, that helps so you do not need to replace it half way through the year.
You may start sending paperwork into school, Via email, or drop off at the school through the summer, with my name on it. If you have any questions, please email me, and let me know.
Thank you, and have a great summer,
Nurse Cyndi

PTO ticket sales for Robinson Night at the Ballpark are closed, and we unfortunately cannot take any new orders. We sold nearly 600 tickets! This is a new record which means we need a little extra time to organize all the tickets for pick-up. For those who have already submitted payment, tickets will be available for pick-up starting Monday, May 9th at Robinson's office. We unfortunately can't send the tickets home in backpacks to ensure all the tickets are received by the appropriate family.
For families that missed the ticket sales or need additional tickets, you may purchase tickets through the Cardinal's online ticket sales or box office. Please note, the $20/ticket was a group sale price so online ticket purchases will vary. Our Robinson community will be sitting between sections 165 and 168 if you would like to sit close.
We look forward to cheering on our Robinson choir and the Cardinals on May 24th!

Robinson PTO Board Needs Volunteers for 22-23 School Year
All open board positions are "elect" positions which means you will work alongside the current board member for a year before transitioning into the role. We recognize many of us are stretched thin in life and couldn't imagine carving out any extra time. But this type of community service really is rewarding especially when you see the joy on our students' and teachers' faces.
If we have a strong, diverse team we can strike a balance with time commitment and will be more successful at building a Robinson community that is connected, engaging and enriched!
All are welcome! Please contact us as robinsonpto@kirkwoodschools.org if you would like to hear more or are interested in joining our Board.
