TEXAS AGGIES MASCOT
Reveille was picked up on the side of the road by a group of cadets coming back from Navasota who decided to take care of her. The next morning when a bugle horn played, she barked and was named. They brought her back to campus and unanimously agreed to make her the official mascot and First Lady of A&M. She is now the highest ranking member of the corp of cadets, being the only member to wear 5 stars.
Texas A&M creates a strong, positive sense of tradition through their logos and mascot that is carried on year-to-year. Students, alumni, and other fans draw emotional connections to Reveille, A&M's unique traditions, and the school's spirit and unity.
