High Expectations:
Every Scholar, Every Day
A Word from Principal Haynes
Greetings Parents,
Thank you so much for all of your patience and understanding as we work through the increased security measures in place. This has definitely been a time where patience is much needed especially for dismissal. However, dismissal is definitely running smoothly. I need everyone to understand that if everyone follows the dismissal pattern, we can move much more efficiently and quickly.
Once again, PLEASE DO NOT WALK UP TO THE CAR RIDER AREA TO PICK UP SCHOLARS. This disrupts the flow of the dismissal process--you must understand we must safely dismiss over 650 scholars into various areas and I need you to adhere to this directive. If you are going to walk up, please designate your scholar as a WALKER.
The bell rings at 3:10PM--there will be a long line for car riders because we cannot fill all of the cars at once. You must be patient. Dismissal takes 15-20 minutes ONCE THE BELL RINGS, not once you are in line. Lately, by 3:27PM, all high traffic has gone through the gate.
The entrance gates close and lock promptly at 3:30PM each day. Please do not wait until the last minute to get into the car line. Once the gate is closed, it will not be reopened. You will need to go to the walker entrance by ASP, give your child's name to the Campus Monitor to determine your child's location. Once your child's location has been confirmed, you will be able to walk to that location to retrieve the child.
Wishing you an AMAZING and BLESSED week!!
Principal Haynes
