Wattles Park Spring Read-a-thon
Read-a-thon has begun. Our Wattles Park readers have logged 8,800 minutes of reading since last Friday! We have a ways to go to reach our goal of 50,000 minutes by March 20th. We have 86 students that have logged minutes so far in Read-a-thon. If we could get all of our 389 students logging minutes, we could easily reach our goal. If your child has not logging minutes yet or still needs to register their Read-a-thon account, there is still time.
Activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323334333832/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
Wattles Park Elementary is all about reading right now. Please help us spread the word about our Read-A-Thon by sharing this quick email with your friends and family:

Wild About Reading!
Reading month has begun at WPE and we have some fun activities for our students. First, have you heard about the principal's challenge? If the students log 50,000 minutes by March 20th, Mr. Swan is going to dye his hair blue and shave off his beard. Please help your child log these minutes using the Read-a-thon site. If you have not created a reader's account, please do this today by going to the site below.
