National School Counseling Week ~ February 1 - 5, 2021
National School Counseling Week 2021, “School Counselors: All in for All Students,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 1–5, 2021, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do.
National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
THANK YOU to our counselors, Courtney Hillig, Serina Ramos, Kelsey Rosten, Jen Schwab and Ryan Smith, for all they do for students and staff alike!
2021-2022 Course Registration is Due by End of Day on Wednesday, February 3rd!!

Schedules for Quarter 3 Learning ~ January 25, 2021 to March 12, 2021
Lunch Times
When we return to in-person learning next week, we will be having THREE separate lunch periods as we did previously this year. The change, however, is that instead of freshmen having one lunch, upperclassmen having one lunch, and ILC students having one lunch, we will be scheduling lunches by the SECOND PERIOD CLASS TEACHERS.
Those students who have SECOND PERIOD classes in SOCIAL STUDIES, MATH, ESS, ART, BUSINESS/MARKETING, INDUSTRIAL TECH, and CREDIT RECOVERY will eat lunch during the first or "silver" lunch period. This means that they will have a split second-period class with lunch in the middle of class and returning to that same class.
Those students who have SECOND PERIOD classes in ENGLISH, SCIENCE, MUSIC, PE/HEALTH, or FAMILY CONSUMER SCIENCE will eat lunch during the second or "purple" lunch period. This means that they will have the entire second-period class before leaving for lunch, and they will return to their third-period class.

Please forward this email to your students interested in becoming a State Rep for 2021-2022 or have them find it on the Student Leadership page of CHSAANow or CHSAA.org. From our current State Rep President Caden Salladay of Manitou Springs High School – “Being a State Representative is a duty where you represent the state of Colorado and the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) through CHSAA committees and conferences. It requires a person to be dedicated, consistent, purposeful, and open to new things. By applying you will be joining a group of people with similar motives, but diverse backgrounds, allowing you to meet and work with others from around the state and grow in your leadership abilities.”
