If you are interested in incorporating a global component to a course you are teaching at Fordham, we encourage you to consider Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). Fordham University partners with universities across the globe and many of those partners would be interested in working with you in collaborative and innovative ways.
- The State University of New York COIL Center provides resources and syllabi examples from courses offered with international partners virtually.
- SUNY COIL has published a faculty guide for COIL course development.
- The Forum on Education Abroad has published a guide to online global learning experiences for educators.
- The FACE Foundation is accepting proposals for grants of up to $7,500 to support Franco-American projects that will allow students to connect online to ideas, peers and methods from the partner country. Projects that will be part of a credit-bearing course are especially encouraged, as are projects that support a strong return to in-person student mobility as public health conditions improve. Proposal are reviewed on a rolling basis through October 30, 2020. Contact studyabroad@fordham.edu for more information about existing partners in France.
