To The Point: Pathway to College, Career & Community Readiness
Watch the latest episode of To the Point about The Pathway, a new guide that MCPS created to help families, students and teachers work together to ensure student success. The Pathway to College, Career and Community Readiness helps identify students’ strengths and areas of improvement to ensure each student receives the support they need. The Pathway has a series of milestones and core competencies that students should meet by certain grade levels. The overall goal is to prepare students for life after high school.

- John F. Kennedy High School
- Seneca Valley High School
- Walter Johnson High School
Pick-ups will run 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 pm. The last drop-off is 1:30 pm. These buses will run approximately every 30 minutes during the event.
Attendance Is Important!
Regular daily attendance is expected. It is critical to a child's academic success. Parent/caregiver support of regular daily attendance is essential. Parents/caregivers should provide a note within 3 days stating the reason for absence. This will ensure the absence is marked excused. Students who were absent from school have the responsibility to request make-up work from their teacher.
