Transition to Middle School
Dear 5th Grade Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to 2019, 2nd semester and your student’s last semester as an elementary student! Transition opportunities will be offered this spring to support the promotion to middle school. Traditionally in the Cedar Rapids Community School District, a student’s attendance zone elementary school determines their attendance zone middle school. This year your student has multiple options to consider for 6th grade! The CRCSD is excited to offer a variety of school choice for parents in addition to their attendance zone middle school, including two middle magnet schools.
See attachment for more details.
