From Principal Becker
The final eight weeks!
Greetings, Crimson Families!
Believe it or not, we've got just eight weeks to go in the 2023-24 school year. It's incredible how time goes by, and yet we still have a ton left to look forward to from concerts, AP testing, musical theatre, spring athletics, academic recognition, and of course, commencement! The time is now for the Crimson Class of 2024!
Looking ahead, we have our mid-trimester conferences next Thursday from 3:00–7:00 p.m., followed by an asynchronous learning day on Friday, April 19. Then, on Tuesday, April 23, only sophomores and juniors report to school for the PreACT and ACT exams, respectfully. Freshmen and seniors have another asynchronous learning day.
The Crimson Junior/Senior Prom will occur Saturday, April 27, at the St. Paul Landmark Center. Crimson students must complete and submit a guest approval form before purchasing tickets for any guests who are not Crimson students. All tickets can be purchased through EduTrak until April 24.
We'll convene our first senior commencement meeting on May 1 in Foundations, and Crimson families will soon be receiving information about everything related to our 2024 commencement ceremony! Then, AP testing begins May 6 and continues through May 24; this is a busy stretch, and we look forward to our Crimson students earning college credits for their futures!
Spring activities are up and running, and we have some nice weather coming our way for lacrosse, softball, baseball, track/field, and boys' tennis! Stop by the school and catch an event to support our students and their programs!
As always, thank you for your support, and for sending us the best kids any school could hope for. We are truly fortunate to be Maple Grove Crimson!
Yours very respectfully,
Bart Becker, Principal
