Attendance Reminders
Just a few reminders as we have a lot of illness going around right now.
- Make sure to let the office know that your student will be out for the day.
- When your student returns, send a medical excuse or a note/email to the office.
Lunch Charges
There are many students that have outstanding lunch balances. If you owe fees please try to get these paid down as soon as possible. Transcripts will not be issued or sent for students who owe fees, nor will they participate in graduation practice or receive their diploma during graduation ceremonies.
Supplies
As we head into the final nine weeks please make sure your child still has the needed supplies.
Students are running out of pencils. Also, many students have broken or lost their calculators. They need both items almost daily.

Project Lead the Way
Students are finishing up their unit, “Inclined to Design” by creating a disaster relief plan to safely and efficiently support disaster victims with required supplies in the aftermath of a community disaster. They are to provide 3 days of required supplies to sustain disaster victims, provide medical shelter/equipment/supplies, as well as making sure their survival kits fit so it can be shipped easily. They are to map out where they want their disaster relief location, medical shelter layout, estimate costs, create a project/job schedule and then present their plan. Each team member has their own role to fill and requirements to meet, but as a group, it’s one plan so effective collaboration is necessary to be successful.

Freddie Care Closet
The goal is to provide students with food, clothing or personal items while keeping it anonymous.
How it works:
- Students scan the QR code and email is sent to one of the Counselors.
- The student will be called down to meet with the Counselor to discuss their needs.
- If the student is comfortable, the Counselor and student can walk together to the Care Closet or the student can share what they need and the Counselor will get it for them.
