A Note from Our Principal
Dear North Beach Families:
The weather forecast is calling for snow this weekend, just in time for a break from school. I have encouraged students and teachers to step away from their devices during our week off to recharge their batteries and take a break from screens! Since snow is coming in at the right time, now is a great time to put the iPads and laptops away for mid-winter break and go outside to play!
We’ve just wrapped up the Big Give and I’d like to once again thank everyone who supported the campaign for the support shown to the staff and students at North Beach. We are so honored by the generosity shown by this community and will be able to provide support in a variety of ways to our students and families as a result of the campaign. Thank you!
The district will be providing an update by February 22nd on a return to in-person learning for our students in Intensive Services Pathways programs and Kingergarten-1st grade students. Please monitor https://www.seattleschools.org/resources for updates on the plan for returning to in-person learning.
Finally, we have an opportunity for a parent education event February 24:
These are difficult and worrying times, even for kids. Maybe even especially for kids. We're excited to welcome child psychologist Dr. Michelle Proulx to share how parents and caregivers can support children who may be experiencing anxiety. Dr. Proulx will be answering your questions during her talk. To help maintain anonymity, and to make sure we have time for all questions, please submit your questions ahead of time. (Your question will be sent to Dr. Proulx and Alysa Reid (North Beach School Counselor).

Every donation matters, every dollar impacts our students and school! Thank you!
However, our COVID adjusted goal is just the beginning of the funding North Beach Elementary PTA needs to continue its programs. If you are interested in a more detailed description of how the PTA utilizes funding Click Here
