Introducing the HR Help Hour
We are happy to announce a new way for you to learn more about your employment and benefits. Beginning in October, each month Chris Marsala will visit your school to host a meeting about a Human Resources or benefit topic. This will be an informal, drop in time for you to get your questions answered!
October's topic is Tuition Reimbursement and here is the schedule of meetings.
October 7 (2:30 - 3:30 p.m) Avon Grove High School (Faculty Lounge)
October 14 (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.) Avon Grove Intermediate School (Office Conference Room)
October 19 (2:30 - 3:30 p.m.) Fred S. Engle Middle School (Conference Room A)
October 28 (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.) Penn London Elementary School (Faculty Lounge)
Annual Pension Statement
The Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS) will generate the annual Statement of Account from September through December. If you are enrolled in paperless delivery, you will receive an email from PSERS notifying you when your Statement of Account is available in your Member Self-Service (MSS) account. This also means that you will have access to your Statement of Account before your peers who do not have paperless delivery and must wait for their documents to be printed and processed through the U.S. Postal Service.
With paperless delivery, you will not receive a copy of your Statement of Account in the mail. If you would like to receive your documents via U.S. mail, you may log into your MSS account to change your paperless settings. You may also send your request in writing with a signature to PSERS.

Our benefits broker has provided us with some interesting wellness resources this month. The Live Well Work Well Newsletter includes a recipe for pumpkin ricotta stuffed shells. Additional resources include information about prescription drug safety and walking for fitness.
