Lessons to Be Learned
We have had similar issues- students logging in to other student e-mail and sending hateful messages from the account, and a student creating an outside Gmail account and sending wildly inappropriate messages to others. So far, the internal process we have in place has worked for us.
* Please remember that we have a student-friendly document based on our Acceptable Use Policy, called the TUGS: Technology Use Guidelines for Students. Use it with your students!
We have noticed a number of teacher computers that remain logged in overnight. This is a security issue! Please log out each day, and even within the day. It doesn't take long.
- Adults should not share their account information with anyone
- We should all have complex passwords that we protect
- All adults (and students) should log out when we are leaving our computer, at any time.
- Staying logged in opens the computer to all sorts of things- records and docs being tampered with, pictures saved to the computer or G: drive, and providing others access to confidential information. That would not be a good situation for the individual or us to be in.

Mediander.com It starts out as a book store; they’re trying to get you buy books. But ignore that. Use this site to get resources for research, including tons of videos. Search for a topic, click on Connects, then choose one of the results and see the many videos.
