Staff Newsletter
What a great first week!
While we do keep a healthy pace and are already supporting students in the first few days with what we normally associate with "mid-year" supports, just remember that many of them have been without structure or proper care all summer. We may be the only smile or supportive adult they see each day.
While for many this is their "safe place", some come to us each day with needs that are even bigger than what we are equipped to support. Please continue to stay diligent in your observations of students so that we may continue to support not only the academic needs of our students, but also their social and emotional needs as well.

Important Reminders:
1. Outside gates should never be propped open - if you see open, it is your responsibility to do something and to not leave it for someone else to mind.
2. All interior doors must be locked at all times - classroom doors may be open if occupied, but still should remain locked. If you leave your class, it must be closed behind you.
