Weathering, Erosin, and Depostion
There are three types of process which shapes the land from in different ways. Which is Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition. There are two types of weathering chemical and mechanical/physical. Chemical weathering is the process by which rocks break down as a result of chemical reactions. Examples of chemical weathering are carbon dioxide, acids, and oxygen. mechanical weathering is the breakdown of rock into smaller pieces by physical means. Examples of mechanical weathering include ice, wind, water, gravity, plants, and even animals. The difference between mechanical and chemical is that mechanical means physical and it breaks the rock into smaller pieces, and chemical changes the rocks appearance. Erosin is the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents. The five main types of erosin is water, wind, ice , gravity, and living things. Deposition is the process of sediment being move and drop into a new place. The five main types of deposition is wind, water, ice, living animals, and gravity
