- You can vote up to 2 people for each category unless the question specifies.

The FAFSA is used by federal, state, and institutional financial aid to determine your eligibility for scholarships, low interest loans, and other financial assistance. If your dreams include continuing education after high school, you need to get this done by April 1, 2024 if at all possible. See your school counselor if you have questions about getting started.

Take time and review the Hickman Scholarship Smore. Under Section 4, you will find a link to "The 2024 Hickman Scholarships". There are several LOCAL scholarship deadlines coming up for March 15th. The counseling department updates the 2024 Hickman Scholarship document on frequently, we encourage seniors to visit this page often.

Yearbook Ordering
National Honor Society
Applications for 2024-2025 membership to National Honor Society have been sent to sophomore and juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and higher. Eligible students should have received an email sent to their CPS school email account on Sunday, March 10. Applications are due by Friday, March 22 at 4:05 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.

Showcase COMO
Juniors and Seniors! Join others in the Columbia area on Thursday, April 11th at Showcase CoMo. This event brings local businesses and employers who provide services, products, and jobs to our community! Some may interview and hire on the spot, so it could be worth your while!
Students can learn more by either coming by the Counseling office and talking with Dr. Matthews or joining "The Showcase CoMo" group in Schoology. The join code for that is: Z2ZN-GVFK-WSF39
