Continent Drift
BY:THOMAS PARTON and logan jackson
Who thought of it
In 1915, the German geologist and meteorologist Alfred Wegener first proposed the theory of continental drift, which states that parts of the Earth's crust slowly drift atop a liquid core. The fossil record supports and gives credence to the theories of continental drift and plate tectonics.
what evidence does he have
some fossils are found in areas that animals couldn't live in because of the climate. the second reason is that the contents fit together like puzzle pieces. The third reason is that the magnetic poles have switched about seven times. One more reason is that some mountains are the same rock that started to form at the same time.
