Student Engagement Session
PSD Steering Committee
Monday, April 1 from 5:30pm to 7pm
We want to inform you that members of the Poudre School District Facilities Planning Steering
Committee will be at Dunn Elementary on Monday, April 1 to gather input from students about the district’s long-range planning efforts.
Members of the steering committee are gathering input from many stakeholders, including staff,
students, and members of the greater community as they develop recommendations around
boundary modifications, school consolidations, and educational program placement. Student
voice is critical in this process, as PSD works to maintain the health of the district overall,
continue to provide outstanding educational experiences, and address declining student
enrollment.
Students who share input with the committee during these sessions will remain anonymous.
Feedback gathered by the committee will be synthesized and included in its recommendations
to the PSD Board of Education.
We believe in empowering students to be part of this important work that will shape academic
experiences and outcomes for generations to come.

Questions the facilitator may ask (to help your child prepare)
As an IBPYP school, we encourage students to demonstrate the traits of the Learner Profile to take action to make their world a better place. This is an opportunity for our students to share what their IB school means to them in an authentic way. Please help your child prepare, so they are comfortable speaking from their hearts and minds.
- What do you like about your school? (Curriculum, Extracurricular programs/ Clubs, Community, Culture, Support from staff or classmates)
- Any ideas about making your school a better place? What do you wish was different about your school? (Curriculum, Extracurricular programs/ Clubs, Community, Culture, Support from staff or classmates)
