STUDENT PASSWORDS REQUIRED CHANGE
Technology Services is implementing a new password policy for students to enhance their internet security and protect their personal information. This policy requires that students create stronger passwords (see information below) that are more difficult to guess or hack. All middle school students will be prompted within Classlink to reset their passwords to a unique password that meets the password requirements defined below on Monday, April 29th.
Passwords will no longer be visible in Q, but teachers and site technicians can reset passwords when needed.
Password Requirements:
- Important Note: Please tell students to select an easy to remember password possibly a PASSWORD they use for Social Media/Computers/Other.
- Important Note: Tell them to record their PASSWORD on their PHONE or somewhere safe just in case they FORGET.
To ensure the ongoing security of student accounts, the new passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 10 characters
- No common phrases/words (CVUSD, conejo, conejovalley, <student first or last name>, etc...)
- No sequential characters (abc, 123)
- Use at least 3 of the 4 of the following character types:
- lower case letter

SCHOOL CENTS & TEACHER STAFF APPRECIATION
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: The gift card drive could be a Win Win for LCMS PTSA as the School Cents fundraiser ends April 30th....may we suggest you purchase a gift card if you are so inclined to participate that way, from one of the stores or restaurants surrounding The Oaks prior to 4/30 ...then submit your receipt on line to the School Cents opportunity to help LCMS. We are currently neck and neck with Lang Ranch PTSA and need an extra push to get us over the finish line ahead of our feeder school. It's a great competition every year between 13 other schools as well.
Any receipts from The Oaks for any other shopping or dining from 9/15 thru 4/30 must be submitted before the fundraiser ends on 4/30. Any form of appreciation for Teachers and Staff is appreciated. Shop wherever you would like, however this is a special opportunity to contribute to two projects in one.
Contact person for School Cents or Teacher Staff Appreciation may be directed to Donna Lloyd Lovretovich, VP Programs (805) 207-4352, donnalloydlovretovich@gmail.com
