AHS Senior Scholarship Application
All senior students are being asked to complete our Anoka High School scholarship application form on Monday, February 12th. They will receive this application via email. This application applies to community scholarships that are part of our annual Anoka High School scholarship ceremony in May. There are a wide range of scholarships that are offered and include scholarships for students who are:
- Planning to attend a 4-year university
- Planning to attend community college
- Planning to attend a technical college.
In other words, all seniors should apply if they are planning on attending any post-secondary institution in the fall of 2024. PLEASE encourage your child to apply.
If your student does not complete the application, they will not be considered for any of the community scholarships. Please remind your student to check their school email account on Monday, February 12th for the link to the application. The deadline to complete this application is February 21st. If your student is awarded any of these specific scholarships, they will be notified by mail or email in April. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s counselor.

Anoka DECA Students partner with the eMentors Program!
Students from the Anoka DECA Internship program and the College and Career Development class partnered with Best Prep to go through a program called eMentors. The program partners a Minneapolis business with the students. Anoka is lucky to continue their 20-year relationship with RBC. Each student is paired with an employee of RBC who mentors them with guiding questions that range from work experience, college, goal setting, resume writing, time management, etc. A highlight of the program is the meet and greet where the students visit the company. In this instance, the Anoka students visited the RBC Gateway building in downtown Mpls. Senior Kaylee Auspos says he has gained valuable insight on the workings of the real world and great college and career advice from
her mentor, Heather Rosales.
In addition to visiting RBC, this year’s trip included a behind the scenes tour of Target Center.
Congratulations Gretchen Paaverud!
