Library Lady Leak v 13
A funny thing happened on the way to the library check out desk...
So apparently first grade has been sharing the David Shannon book Bugs in my Hair! because students were requesting the title when they were ready for check out. As the lucky student approached the circulation desk she joyfully yelled, "I got Bugs in my Hair!, I got Bugs in my Hair!" I love it!
May I just say that Mr. Salazar has such an enthusiastic class. No matter what I read, they applaud excitedly once the story is done. I love it!
Third graders are continuing to work on their PowerPoints. Students in fourth and fifth grades are utilizing iMotion to create stop action photography/videography projects. Kindergarten and First grades learned about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and either completed word searches and alphabetical order work or they created a book on Dr. King. Second grade is currently working on a phases of the moon mini-accordion book after watching a Brainpop video on the topic.
Texas Bluebonnet Voting will begin tomorrow. We have 79 students who completed the form and submitted it by last Friday. Ms. Struble will be contacting you when she is ready for students to come and vote. Because of the large number of students, we decided to start early. The Bluebonnet Celebration will be on Friday. The start time will come later once I have finalized the plans.
