HSA-Austin: Where every student grows, every day!
Letter From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the crucial period leading up to the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), I wanted to take a moment to emphasize the significant role that your child's attendance and participation play in their academic success. With just one month remaining until the exams, every day counts, and your support is essential in ensuring that your child is fully prepared and equipped to excel.
Regular school attendance is fundamental to academic achievement. Each day presents valuable learning opportunities that contribute to your child's growth and understanding of key concepts. Missing even a single day can result in gaps in knowledge that may prove challenging to bridge, especially during this critical period of review and consolidation.
I urge you to refrain from scheduling appointments or leaving early during school hours, particularly in the upcoming weeks. Consistent and uninterrupted class time allows teachers to cover essential material and address any questions or concerns that students may have. By staying for the entire duration of the school day, your child maximizes their exposure to instructional content, which is crucial for success on the STAAR exams.
In addition to regular school hours, I encourage your child to take advantage of after school and Saturday tutorials. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for targeted review, practice, and individualized support. Our dedicated teachers are committed to helping every student reach their full potential, and these supplementary sessions are designed to reinforce classroom learning and address specific areas of difficulty.
Together, we can support their academic journey and ensure that they have the resources and encouragement they need to succeed. Thank you for your continued partnership and support in our shared commitment to your child's education.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Molina
Principal
