Friendship

The meaning of friendship has changed over the years.
When was the last time you called your friend on the phone? When was the last time you went over your friends house just to hang out? Do you have more friends in real life or on Facebook? Friendships should build you up and make you feel good about yourself. A friend will except you for who you are and not expect you to change.

How much time do you spend looking at your phone while with friends?
These girls are sitting together on their phones. Back before technology, friends would sit and talk or go out and do things together. Being social was going out and being in contact with other human beings.
Taking time away from important things
This picture says Id love to befriend god but i cant find him on Facebook! This is showing how much social media has changed society. People spend a lot of there lives now online and they spend there time sitting at home on a computer besides going out and interacting with friends and taking care of important responsibilities.
Frankensteins friendships
Friendship played a big role in Frankenstein. The creature felt lonely and longed for companionship. No one would even give him the time of day. He asked Frankenstein to create him a wife so he wouldn't be so lonely but Victor new that could potentially make things worse. In the end the creature kills and takes all of victors friendships so he now knows how the monster has felt all along.
In the sotry
- Elizabeth and Victor were the best of friends and that's why they were able to balance each other out
- The monster tried explaining to Victor how he felt and how he just longed for a companionship, The monster eventually asks Victor to make him a mate
- The creature is angry at Victor because he still is lonely and hes had no one this whole time. The creature decides that Victor should get a taste for how he feels, the creature has killed some of Victors closest friends

He knows that no one will ever open up to him and give him a chance.

(Shelly 83) This is the creature talking to Victor, he cant understand why even his creator doesn't want anything to do with him the creature literally has no one.
- "'When I looked around I saw and heard of none like me. Was I, the, a monster, a blot upon the earth from which all men fled and whom all men disowned?'" (Shelley 105) The creature looked around and knows he is the only one of his kind.
- 'from that moment [he] declared everlasting war against the species, and more than all, against [Frankenstein] who had formed [him] and sent [him] forth to this insupportable misery.'" (Shelley 121) The creature has decided to put revenge on all the humans he comes in contact with, he feels like such an outcast he grows angry.
