Tickets are $5 each. There will be 2 winners drawn; 1 winner will receive a $500 gift card to Bob's IGA - 1 winner will receive a $500 gift card to City Market.
The drawing will be held at the WHS Office on Tuesday, November 20. Right before Thanksgiving!

Summer Programs
Behavioral Health Careers
Students will explore behavioral health careers at Bartlett Regional Hospital and visit a number of resources around Juneau. Participants will also attend presentations by behavioral health professionals/college professors and attend an 8-hour mental health first aid certificate training program. Lastly, students will learn how to become a behavioral health professional including behavioral health aides, social workers, nurses, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists and more.

School Board Meeting
In order to obtain a quorum, the Wrangell Public Schools’ Regular School Board Meeting originally scheduled for November 19 has been moved to Thursday, November 15, 2018, in the Evergreen Elementary School Gym, beginning at 6:30 PM. Please enter through the gym doors.
The agenda for the School Board Meeting will be available online four days prior to the meeting at https://www.boarddocs.com/ak/wrangell/Board.nsf.
The public is encouraged to attend.
Wrangell Public Schools Position Announcements
Wrangell Public Schools is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2018-2019 school year:
Accounting Clerk: The Accounting Clerk assists the business manager in maintaining financial records, accounts payable and preparing payroll. This is a 10-month position, working 7 hours per day with health care benefits. A college degree in Business or Accounting and two years accounting experience is preferred.
Paraprofessional: These are part-time instructional aide positions working with students, 5.75 hours per day in small groups and one-on-one in the Migrant, Special Education, Title I or Regular Education Programs. An associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
