The Way of the Wolf
LMS Weekly Newsletter: April 29 - May 3
Dear LMS Families:
We had an awesome week at LMS! On Friday, we enjoyed some time outside to socialize and eat Kona Ice. The students had a great time and the weather was perfect. Staff and students were hard at work this week reviewing for the State Testing/GMAS/Milestones. We will be reviewing all this week as well.
State testing is next week so please make sure your child is on time and present each day. Make sure that they are charging their chromebooks each night as well. We have some awesome GMAS baskets for students to win after testing. Each student can win up to 3 tickets each day of testing and can enter their names in for a drawing. They choose which basket that they want to win and enter in the drawing. They earn tickets for being present, on-time, and charged Chromebook/doing their best.
On Friday, please come and join us for the LMS School Play, The Wizard of OZ, and follow the yellow brick road (see details below) with a talent show during the intermission. You do not want to miss it! Our students have been hard at work practicing and look forward to seeing you in the audience. See details below for information on tickets. LMS students are FREE!
Please make sure you continue to check infinite campus and your child´s Google Classrooms to ensure students are giving their personal best and all work is turned in on time. We want to finish this year strong. Teachers are also making sure that students are reviewing content for their upcoming state tests, the GMAS/Milestone assessments.
Lastly, as we are having warmer weather, make sure that your child honors our school dress code. All shorts, skirts, and any holes in their jeans need to be at least fingertip length. If you have any questions, please see the dress code link at the bottom.
THANK YOU, PARENTS! WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO TO MAKE LEE MIDDLE A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN AND GROW! WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM!
