Rebel Reports Weekly Update
May 18th-22nd, 2020
Principal's Message
Dear Hays High School Parents and Students,
As we enter the final week of the 2019-20 school year, I want to say thank you for your support of our school. Even though we did not end the year as planned, I am proud of the great things our students accomplished this year. Our students excelled in academics, athletics and in completing hundreds of community service hours to make Kyle and Buda a better place to live. This year we celebrated 50 years as a school, and our school remains stronger than ever. When we roll back to school in August 2020, we hope to make year number 51 just as great at Hays High School.
This will be our last weekly newsletter of the year, but we do pan to continue pushing out information to you over the summer. If you have any questions or need any other information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or my team, we are here to serve you.
Thank you!
David R. Pierce
Principal, Hays High School

Hays HS Virtual Art Show - At Home Creativity 2020!
It is around this time of year that the Hays High School Art Department honors our students' hard work with an Art Showcase. Although we are all disappointed that current circumstances do not allow this special event, we are still happy to do what we can to recognize our students who, despite these adverse circumstances, have been able to access their creativity, skill and determination to learn.
Please enjoy the following artworks that were created during At Home Learning. We are proud of our students, who have shown great ingenuity and perseverance in creating these wonderful works of art! See link to view the HHS Virtual Gallery: (Click Here) to view.
