IMPORTANT INFORMATION
For any student who is considering taking NWACC concurrent courses next year:
During the week of May 6th-10th we will conduct several sessions during advisory to help students apply to NWACC if they have not already done so. During this process students must enter their social security numbers. The SSN is necessary in order to receive the Arkansas Concurrent Challenge Scholarship, which will usually pay for most of 2 courses per semester. Please have your students bring their social security numbers with them the week of May 6th-10th if they would like help applying.
When we meet that week, we will give the students a packet which should help them with the process of course selection. We will send home this packet for parents and students to work through together before final decisions about course selection are made. We would like to have the course selections for both the fall and spring (2024-2025) completed by May 13th. Our process will be explained in detail at the time of our meetings together and parents will be given a process for asking questions and gaining clarity in the packet we send home at that time.
