Book Fair, October 21 - October 25
The PTO's Scholastic Book Fair will run from October 21-25 in our school library
- They will not have any volunteers on Monday.
- On Tuesday and Friday, there will be volunteers operating the cash register from 8-9 AM and 3-4 PM.
- On Wednesday and Thursday there will be volunteers operating the cash register from 8-9 AM, 1-5 PM, and 6-7 PM.
The book fair will be open from 8 AM - 9 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. During both the morning and the afternoon on Tuesday and Friday, I will cover the register if you have any random students with bags of money from 9 AM - 3 PM. On Wednesday and Thursday, I will cover the register if you have any random students with bags of money from 9 AM - 1 PM. In an ideal world, students will come with bags of money during the hours that there are volunteers (e.g. 8-9 AM). I realize, however, that that isn't always possible and I have assured the PTO that I will cover those rare situations.
Library classes will continue as usual during the book fair. Classes will come at their normal or 1:00 dismissal schedule times. Students sent to independently work in the library may run into noise, loss of workspace, or loss of access. That being said, grade 5-8 teachers may need to find alternate accommodations for students sent to work independently in the library during October 21-25.
P.S. If you like the posters the PTO has been creating this year, go to www.postermywall.com to access free and subscription poster templates.
