Spring Break!
Spring break is from March 24th-April 3rd! Enjoy your spring break! We interviewed kids in 4K-3rd Grade to see what they are doing! Here are some of the great responses we got!
- Kennedy, from 4k, is going to wait for the Easter Bunny to come!
- Rylan, from Kindergarten, is going to play with his RC cars outside and do jumps on his dirt bike!
- Lucas, from 1st Grade, is going to eat a lot of food!
- Sydnie, from 2nd Grade, is going celebrate her moms birthday and her brothers birthday. She is also going to the park with her cousin.
- Claire, from 3rd Grade, is going to go to the Kalahari with her family!

Spelling Bee!
Congrats to Remington Perl! He was the Yorkville Spelling Bee winner! He represented Yorkville School at the regional spelling bee at Whitewater High School on March 2nd! Also congrats to Jacob Brieske, the runner up!

Rollerblading!
4th Grade- 8th Grade Students participated in a rollerblading unit in February! Students played prison ball, shot hoops and learned many new rollerblading skills.
Anthology
Congratulations to the Yorkville Anthology Winners! These people either wrote or drew something that dealt with the theme, "Anything But Ordinary!" Their pieces were then chosen and will be awarded at the end of May! Next month we will feature some of the amazing pieces!

Choral Festival!
The 6th-8th grade choir students participated in the district wide Choral Festival on Thursday February 25th. Approximately 150 students worked with Dr. Zack Durlam of UW-Milwaukee during the morning portion of the day. It was followed by a 1:30 concert, featuring solo selections from each school plus three combined pieces conducted by Dr. Durlam.
Human Body!
3rd Graders have started their human body unit! At the end of their unit, we might interview them about all they know! In the picture 4 third graders pose with Mr. Bones!
President's Day!
Kindergartners did some awesome writing about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln for President's Day!
