Reminder! Junior College Prep & Senior Year Planning Meeting is tonight!
Attention all Juniors and Families! We are meeting tonight Thursday, March 28th from 6-7:30pm via Teams virtually. We are excited to discuss key college and scholarship prep, the upcoming SAT School Day, and more as you get ready for senior year. All juniors are requested to participate live with at least one member of your household. We will be raffling away one FREE parking permit for next year (subject to application and approval) to a student who participates live!
National Competition Opportunity! Sign up to take the National Science League tests on campus.
It’s time for student registration for the National Science League contests. The NSL exams will be coming up toward the end of April.
They cover several different science content areas.
9th graders are eligible to sit for the following subjects:
-General Science (Monday, 4/22)
-Physical Science (Tuesday, 4/23)
-Earth Science (Wednesday 4/24)
10th-12th graders are eligible to sit for:
-Biology (Monday, 4/22)
-Chemistry (Tuesday, 4/23)
-Earth Science (Wednesday, 4/24)
-Physics (Thursday, 4/25)
These contests are short (~30 minutes) and can provide students with the opportunity to receive school-level and, possibly, national distinction. All contests will be administered in the Magnet Cafetorium at 9 am each day.
Once students have registered, additional information will be sent out regarding the details of the contest administration and practice content.

Annual Updates Open Now for the 24-25 School Year
It’s time to complete your Annual Student Update in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
We encourage you to complete your Annual Update as soon as possible to avoid delays.
An Annual Update is required for each student to receive an RCPS laptop or iPad and to access online instructional programs for the 24-25 school year.
- Log in to the Parent Portal (www.rockdaleschools.org/infinitecampus)
- Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner.
- Click MORE at the bottom of the list.
- Click ANNUAL UPDATES AND REGISTRATION.
- Choose 24-24 SCHOOL YEAR ANNUAL UPDATE.
- Click START and then BEGIN REGISTRATION.
- Review the information for ALL STUDENTS in your household.
- NOTE: Names cannot be changed in an Annual Update. Please contact Student Registration if the name of a student or parent/guardian in your application has changed or is incorrect.
- When you are finished, click SUBMIT.
- Please wait for the message “Thank you for completing Online Registration for Rockdale County Public Schools” to confirm your update has been received. It can take 15-20 seconds for this message to appear.
- During the school year, please use this same process to update your address, phone numbers, emergency contacts, and student health information.

Encourage 5th grade girls to register for our upcoming Math Competition
Ms. Matthews, the RMSST Math Team, and 9th Grade Honor Society Beta Lambda Tau are excited to host the first 5th Grade Girls Math Competition. Students will work in groups of 3-4 students to solve a set of critical thinking mathematical problems. Schools may create their own teams to register, or students can self-register to be put into a team. There will also be a keynote speech and STEM workshops with a “make-and-take” session. Awards will be given for the competition portion ay 11:30am with family invited to attend. Registration is at this link https://forms.office.com/r/UAFZACQ4JM.

Free Tutoring! Access Tutor.com via ClassLink for On-Demand Help at Home!
Reminder: Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) and Tutor.com, one of the world’s largest online tutoring services, have partnered to provide live, online tutoring services for RCPS students. Through this partnership, quarantined RCPS students in grades 6-12 can access live tutors on-demand, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from Tutor.com for 1-to-1 learning support. RCPS students in grades K-12 can access the same expert tutors afterschool.
The service provides homework help across more than 120 subjects, along with drop-off essay review and test prep.
Students can access Tutor.com through the ClassLink landing page in any internet browser on their school-issued laptop or device, which will automatically sign in the student to their account. Or they can visit https://launchpad.classlink.com/rockdale.
Extended Tutorial available weekly Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
The last day for extended tutorial this school year will be Tuesday, May 21st.
