Message from the Principals
As a reminder, tomorrow, Friday, March 29th there is no school due to Good Friday.
We will be wrapped up our iReady Challenge on Thursday, but students can choose to continue logging minutes for towards their grade level totals through Friday. Grade level winners will be announced in the coming week.
Registration for the Multicultural Festival is now open! Click here to view the registration form along with the section below within Home Link for more information on the event.
Our window for parent input pertaining to next year's placement is closing on April 1st. This is an optional step in the placement process. Please see the link below if you would like to submit feedback.
Lastly, we wanted to take a moment to remind all families on our arrival and dismissal protocols within the car loop. All families/community members should enter the car loop on Mill Road and take left out of the parking lot towards Boston Road (click here for a visual) unless directed differently by staff. These procedures have been determined by our school based incident management team in collaboration with the Chelmsford Police Department. We have been noticing that cars are sometimes exiting out of the loop and taking a right towards Mill Rd at the beginning and in the middle of the arrival and dismissal process. Most recently, we have had a couple of close calls that almost resulted in accidents. For the safety of all members of our community, it is essential that all members of the community adhere to these traffic patterns for the safety of all members of our community. You will notice cones out starting on Monday which will remain out blocking cars from taking a right out of the loop until the last car round of the arrival and dismissal process. Thank you for your support in adhering to the arrival/dismissal process.
Have a wonderful long weekend!
Respectfully,
Terri and Jayson

Nurses Corner
Dear South Row Families,
A couple things to consider now that Spring is here…
Start your child’s daily allergy medication before symptoms start!
Pack a change of pants for your student as recess can be muddy and wet this time of year.
As many of you may have heard, the CDC changed their Covid quarantine and isolation guidelines. Here is the updated CPS COVID Health Protocols
We are still seeing a sprinkle here and there of GI illnesses and Strep remains our most common illness across the grades. Strep can present with vomiting and abdominal pain for some individuals, especially young children. If your student has persistent stomach pain or vomiting, give their pediatrician's office a call.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
Warmly,
Nurse V.

Our catalog fundraiser through Meadow Farms is coming home in backpacks soon! This is a great one to share with friends and family who may live further away. They can order online and have items shipped directly to them! If you order right away they should even arrive in time for Mother's Day. Watch your kids' backpacks this week for all the information.
EVERYONE is welcome to attend our next PTO meeting and learn more about school happenings and upcoming events. We'll also have another budget addition to vote on so the more people in attendance the better. It will be on Monday April 8th at 7pm in the cafeteria. Please enter at the loading dock door off of the main parking lot. See you then!
Every year during Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTO holds a themed lunch for all of our amazing teachers, staff, bus drivers, and district administration. We take over the gym and go all out decorating to the theme, and provide a big lunch and goodies to take with them. Because South Row is such a magical place, this year's Teacher Appreciation Lunch will be Harry Potter themed!
Please use the following link to volunteer to bring food or help out with setup on May 2nd or the lunch itself on May 3rd.

Our house elves are hard at work planning the lunch. The earlier you can sign up or purchase from our wishlist, the easier it is for us to plan for what is still needed. Thanks in advance for quick responses.
