The Definition of Perfect
In talking to our business partners in our community, the one thing I consistently hear from them is the value of solid attendance. Carson is the model of dependability. I mentioned his feat to the head of the HR department of a local industry and one of the first things he said was, "We would like to get an opportunity to provide an internship to that young man. It speaks volume for the type of person he must be." Every day, no matter what Carson feels like, he comes to school. Its no surprise he is a solid student as well. He has a mindset that says school is important and I need to be there. The development of this kind of habit is what successful people do. Thank you, Mr. Carson Lutz, for providing a real example that this not only can be done, but it has been done. You are an inspiration to our staff and student body. We wish you continued success as you graduate from LHS and continue your education at Boise State University. We are proud of you and keep soaring! Go Hawks!

Heritage Health Clarification...
Let it also be noted that we will ALWAYS make an effort to contact a parent prior to medical care. The staff at Lakeland High School would never intentionally spread false information or do anything that would undermine parents. Our students education as well as health and well being are our number one priority.
