CORI applications
As our school year is winding down, there may be numerous fun volunteer opportunities that parents/guardians/caretakers would like to be a part of in the classroom. PLEASE make sure that you have an active CORI on file. CORI forms can be found in our Main office. Thank you for your cooperation.
Spotlight on Second Grade
As 2nd grade classes continue their study of Informational books, many classes are reading Biographies and learning about people who have made a difference in the world. Understanding how individuals can make a difference is an integrated skill that can be taught across curriculum areas. Studying biographies encompasses Reading, Social Studies and Social/Emotional learning in a cohesive way that makes sense to 2nd graders.
