The High Performance Triangle: Building Capacity for Instructional Leadership
We've designed the Network to help you build the capacity for sustainable, distributed instructional leadership in your school or organization.
Sustainable high performance doesn't come from heroic effort or superstar individuals.
We believe that any organization, filled with ordinary people, can become a high-performance organization by putting key systems in place.
These systems have three features in common:
- The right strategy, which is what makes us effective
- The right tools, which allow us to be efficient
- The right habits, which allow us to be consistent
These three features make up what we call the High Performance Triangle.
Developing high-performance systems begins with leaders, but it doesn't end there. For sustainable excellence, schools must develop instructional leadership capacity that extends to staff—and even students.
That's why our professional development materials, available for all staff and students, include training on:
- Deciding in Dialogue—Polarity Thinking for Schools
- High-performance Goal-Setting
- Google Apps for Education—GAFE @ The Principal Center
- Protocols
- Personal Productivity & Effectiveness
- ...and more
