Hong Kong’s Golden Dragon Awards:
Golden Dragon Awards was founded in 2014. The award is intended to be a fun and exciting way for Hong Kong youth ages 4 to 18 years to become enthusiastic and discriminating readers. This program will provide students with internationally-minded balanced book selections with appropriate, appealing, quality literature at appropriate reading levels. Spring 2015 will now include a vote for your school’s favourite book in each division!

From January to May, students, staff, and community members borrowed 24,500 books. Thank you so much for helping our library with book reading and borrowing enthusiasm!
Borrowing at the end of the year:
Last week of official borrowing: June 9th-13th.
Students return books by June 20th.

Do your children have too many books on their shelves? Would you like to make room for new ones? Perhaps take time with your children to think about clearing out books they have grown out of or no longer enjoy, send your children to the library with the books to swap them!

All about TumbleBook Library: The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, Tumble Puzzles & Games, and TumbleResources for teachers and students. Plus there are videos from National Geographic as well.
