Upcoming -- MCA Testing
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) are rapidly approaching! The tests are administered every year to measure student performance relative to the Minnesota Academic Standards that specify what students in a particular grade should know and be able to do. While the tests are used for federal and state accountability measurements, the tests are also used by educators to improve classroom teaching and learning.
Testing Dates:
- Reading: April 16 & 17 (All School)
- Math: April 23 & 24 (All School)
- Science: Week of April 29(8th Grade)
The daily schedule is adjusted for the Math & Reading testing. With a few exceptions, students will test school-wide in their 4th period classroom. The testing time each day is 9:19-10:43. If you are scheduling appointments, or your student needs to come to school late, or get picked up early, we would be most thankful if you can try to have them at school during this window of time.

Inclement Weather Plan
What happens if school is closed for the day?
Cambridge Isanti Schools may use eLearning days due to inclement weather. A flexible eLearning Day means that school can be in session without students and staff being physically present at the school. Below is more information on our eLearning Day.
Teachers will post the day's lesson in Google Classroom by 10:00am. All teachers will be available from 10am-3pm by school email or within their open Google Meets. Students may work on lessons independently throughout the day. If a student needs help with a lesson they can access their teacher according to the modified schedule in the slides linked below. Students are able to access Google Meets via their school issued Chromebook or other personal devices
Attendance Intervention Meeting (AIM)
AIM meetings serve as the initial intervention for students facing attendance challenges. AIM represents a collaborative effort between C-I Schools, the Isanti County Probation, and the Attorney's offices. When students accumulate three unexcused absences, we refer the student to the Isanti County Probation Department and they are invited to attend an AIM meeting held at the courthouse.
