Our students have been working hard on their inventor research and will be sharing it with you on Thursday.

- Please continue practicing your child's Spelling concept at home.
- February through early March is First grade's designated time to collect cans of fruit to support GRACE. Thank you for your generosity!
Here are a few tips to use while reading with your child at home.
What We're Learning
Math - Creating graphs, using graphs to answer questions, generating questions from graphs
Review of place value skills, money, geometry
Humanities - Researching inventors from the past who helped shape our nation today
Writing focus: stretching out words to spelling them
Science - Patterns of Movement: how objects move in different ways and patterns, such as straight lines, zigzags, up and down, back and forth, round and round, or fast and slow
