2023 CrocktoberFest Competition
CrocktoberFest is an annual competition at Dalhart High School where the teachers compete to make the best crock pot dish. This year the teachers competed in making a crock pot main dish or a crock pot dessert. It is always fun and everyone gets to be together at lunch to tryout everyone's crock pot dishes. The winner is determined by the teachers when they vote for their favorite main dish and dessert.
Many of our teachers also competed in a Pumpkin Decorating Contest as part of this year's CrocktoberFest.
This year's winners are ...

DHS Welding Student Earns Difficult Certification
We had another one of our Welding students earn certifications this week, and we have a first for the program.
Yiovani Orrantia completed his AWS D1.1 1G(flat) open root certification! This is a very hard test and very hard on the nerves. The test for this is a bend test where we try to break the weld on both sides, and Yiovani did this on his first try! This man is one awesome welder!
