It's Been a Great Week at Hoover!
RACE FOR EDUCATION
The Hoover PTO is hosting the Race for Education fundraiser through May 21. On May 21 all students will be walking in shifts all day at Hoover Field to raise money through sponsorship for the PTO. If we reach our goal of $5,000 there will not be another fundraiser in the fall. All proceeds support student events, awards, and special activities. Some examples include: bounce houses for field day, Pioneer Day and Camping Trip supplies, guest speakers, student awards (trophies, ribbons, etc...), and the 4th grade rat & Iditarod projects, etc...
All students who have at least one sponsor will earn a prize. Students with two sponsors will receive a second prize, and for every 5 sponsors, students will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. As a bonus, if the school reaches its goal, students will get to turn Mrs. Galinowski and Mrs. Jones into human ice cream sundaes in front of the whole school on the last day before summer vacation!
