We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month!
On our morning announcements, we recognized the contributions of individuals of Hispanic Heritage that have helped to make our world a better place. We had Hispanic Heritage Trivia and culminated our activity with a performance by Havana Son.
Below is a clip from Havana Son, a musical duo that educated us on Hispanic Culture.

We are excited to have opportunities for our parents to volunteer! We will have several fieldtrips coming up in the next several months. In order for parents to serve as a chaperone for a field trip and ride the bus, parents will need to be an approved volunteer PRIOR to being confirmed to serve as a chaperone.
All confirmed chaperones will be notified by the homeroom teacher. In order to serve as a chaperone and/or volunteer, you complete the Clayton County Volunteer Application Forms (if you send the form to school with your child, be sure to have it notarized and send a copy of your photo I.D. along with the application) and pay any applicable entrance fees for the fieldtrip.
Ice Cream Sales are Back! All items are packaged and sold for $1.
