Photosynthesis

Introduction
In this website, I will be explaining what photosynthesis is, how photosynthesis works, and my description of chloroplasts.
What is Photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is the process of making food in plants , which light energy, water, and carbon dioxide or converted into sugar and oxygen. This occurs during an amount of three stages.
How Photosynthesis Works
It can happen in plants because they have chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the pigment that makes plants green. Chlorophyll captures the sun's energy and uses it to make sugars out of carbon dioxide from the air and water. The sugars fuel a plant's roots, stems, and leaves so the plant can grow.
Three Parts of Photosynthesis
Step 1
Light Absorption
Step 2
Electron Transport Chain
Step 3
Calvin Cycle
Steps of Photosynthesis
Step 1: Light absorption uses chlorophyll and caroteroids to absorb the light, and water is split into hydrogen and oxygen.
Step 2: ETC is the movement of hydrogen across the thylakoids. These provide energy to produce ATP and NADPH.
Step 3: Calcin Cycle is in the stoma, using the electrons carbon to enter as carbon dioxide and leaves as sugar
