New Reading Logs Coming Home!
Beginning this month, we are partnering with Nothing Bundt Cakes to keep kids reading.
Look for new reading logs that came home this week.
For every 400 minutes your student reads, they can bring the completed reading log to the Blaine Nothing Bundt Cakes location in exchange for a bundtlet of their choice. They can receive one bundtlet from March 2024 all the way through May 2024! Extra reading logs will be in the library when students are ready for their next one. Keep up the great work and happy reading!

District News
School Board Hosts Listening Session for the Public
In the District's ongoing efforts to gather feedback from our stakeholders, the Centennial School Board is hosting a Listening Session for the public on March 18, 5:30pm-6:15pm. The session will be held in the District Board Room prior to the regularly scheduled board meeting. Listening sessions are held quarterly to provide the opportunity for community members, parents, students, and staff to meet informally with board representatives and the superintendent to discuss topics in the schools.
Centennial Preschool Registration is Open
The Centennial School District offers high-quality part-day and full-day preschool experiences. Preschool classes are designed to prepare students, ages 3-5, and families for success in kindergarten, practicing both academic and social skills in a “learning-through-play” philosophy. Full-day classrooms are located at each of the elementary schools in the Centennial School District; part-day classrooms are at the Early Childhood Center. Our preschool has earned a 4 Star Parent Aware Rating. Registrations received between March 1 and March 22 will be included in the placement lottery. Registration will remain open after the lottery for remaining seats. Program and registration information can be found on the district’s website.
