Parent/teacher conferences are next Thursday, March 4 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please view the attached Google Slides presentation that will walk you through every detail needed to select dates/times for conferences in Skyward. Since all parent/teacher conferences are remote via WebEx this year, a separate document will be sent out next week detailing how to join a WebEx room (your student can help you with this as well).

Daily In Person Learning to Return on 03/22/21
On Monday, February 22, the SMSD superintendent announced that students would be returning to daily in person schooling on March 22. Please note that information will be coming in the future weeks regarding updated in person protocols and requirements.
As I stated in the Board of Education meeting on Monday evening, our ability to properly socially distance at IHMS is severely impaired due to the number of in person students we have returning (708). However, we will do our best to keep our staff and students safe by socially distancing when possible, wearing masks at all times, and employing a variety of other mitigating strategies that can be found in the middle school mitigating measures document linked here.
